With 30 years of financial services experience, spanning investment banking, capital markets, wealth management and asset management, Michele Faissola provides expert, independent advice to a range of clients.
Previously, he served as Head of Asset & Wealth Management at Deutsche Bank, one of the four divisions of the bank, managing total client assets of almost USD 1.3 trillion. He was also a member of the Deutsche Bank Group Executive Committee. In this role he supervised a team of over 6,000 people in 33 countries. He also chaired DWS Asset Management (Frankfurt) and Deutsche Bank Switzerland.
Prior to this role, Faissola was responsible for Deutsche Bank's Global Rates and Commodity unit and a member of the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Division Executive Committee. He also chaired the Risk Committee of the division.
In 2016 Michele Faissola co-founded F.A.B. Partners, an investment platform gathering a small number of sophisticated investors with a long-term investment profile. He is currently the CEO of one of the largest family offices in the world and continues to advise several large investors around the globe.
Faissola has played an active part in shaping the financial industry and has had roles as Vice Chairman of ISDA (International Swaps and Derivatives Association), Chairman of the GFMA (Global Financial Markets Association) and was a Member of the Board of AFME (Association for Financial Markets in Europe).
He is currently a board member of Printemps SA, a large French retailer.
He is married with three children and lives in London. When not working, his interests include contemporary art, skiing and car racing.
